“ Very welcoming and cozy cafe in the centre of Barking. The locale is integrated in the Barking Learning Centre (Barking Library) with great views of the Barking town hall. Its staff is very kind and attentive, greeting and seeing off the costumers, and very quickly cleaning the tables. I just had a cortado but the quality of the coffee was above average of what can be found in the UK. The food options seemed pretty good too. ”
“ A great place to have your breakfast by yourself or others. The food was great (tuna crunch), and the service was amazing. It was quiet during my stay, which was nice. Seating was adequate and acceptable if more people came. The atmosphere wouldn't have changed more even with increased numbers. Overall, it was a great time spent at Couleur. ”
“ I absolutely love this cafe! The owners are incredibly friendly, and I've been a loyal customer since they were next to Barking Station. The new location is fantastic – it's a peaceful spot to catch up or to sit and work. The service is outstanding, and they offer delicious Halal hot food, with the chicken Cajun panini being my favorite. It's a gem that deserves more recognition. 100% recommended! ”

I asked for brown sauce & they had run out, when I went a week later they gave me it with my food. What a service! Also love that it is dog friendly here. Really enjoy their pastries & coffee as well. Would love to see pancakes on the menu in the future! The food quality is high so I imagine they’ll be just as good! ”

“ Our hotel didn’t provide the best breakfast options and at the prices they wanted was simply not going to happen. The hunt was on for finding a place to have breakfast and this places was only around the corner. The reviews pulled us in and they aren’t wrong this place is really friendly and welcoming. The food options was outstanding and they do sourdough bread what more could you ask for really. All in all great place to have your brunch and relax. Thank you to the staff. ”
“ The greatest place to visit in the Barking Town Center with truly European breakfasts and great coffee late. The service is good. To fulfill myself with a breakfast, I usually order porridge, and a breakfast with smoked salmon, avokado, sourdough bread, pouches eggs and a small salad. I also tried here baked potato with tuna. It was also good, I didn't like with a chicken though. I definitely recommend to come for a breakfast here. Bare in mind, that the kitchen is closing at 3:00pm daily, and on Sunday it closes at 2:00 pm. ”
